Lee Hurren Computers
Lee Hurren Computers is a local family-owned business operating in the Gympie community for over 20 years. The Focus of this project was to give the existing logo the refreshing facelift it needed.
Original Design
The challenge was creating a logo that would be still readable when the logo was resized.
The Design Concept
Experimenting with things that symbolize computers and repair icons such as screwdrivers and cogs, with the large amount of text that was to be incorporated I decided to use a badge style logo design incorporating several of the design elements
After much exploration I discovered several logo marks that successfully
combined into one unique mark.
Finding the Right Modern Typeface
Using the original logo for inspiration I decided to use a serif font for the
main header and sans serif for the subheader. I did not want to use an
over complicated font and kept to more simplistic styles to keep the
logo readable.
